 Jos Scharrer Jos is responsible for the overall communication, branding and creative strategies. She is a Communications & Branding Consultant in her private capacity. She has worked as Communications Consultant to the Ministry of Communications on twenty-plus communication strategy projects. She was a member of the 2000/2003 ACA Board (Advertising Communications Association), and serves on the ASA Tribunal (Advertising Standards Authority). Brand Development and Consultant, Creative Director, Strategist Jos has been responsible for the creative and brand development of: Cold Water Omo, Willards Chips, various Sun International Hotels, Right Guard deodorant (the international creative concept), the JSE, SAB (Hansa, Amstel), Barclays Bank (BOB machines) FNB Home Loans, Dulux, Citibank SA, LUCY PABX, Telkor, numerous FMCG products, government projects, ICT, financial and insurance services. Ad agency experience and background Jos started her advertising career with Ogilvy Mather, London. She has worked with major agencies in New York. For several years she was a Board Director and the Creative Director of VZ (later Ogilvy Mather) in South Africa. (The first woman in South Africa to achieve that appointment with the leading agency of the day). For four years, she was a Board Director and the Executive Creative Director of BBDO South Africa, then billing R300 million, and the leading ad agency of the time. In the period between VZ (later Ogilvy Mather) and BBDO South Africa.
